ACCIDENT CHECKLIST
    We've put together this handy checklist of Things to do and Things not to do in the event of an accident.
    You can print this out and keep it in your vehicle.  Fill out as many items as is possible.  This will allow us to protect your legal rights.  You can use the other side to make a diagram of the accident scene.

  • Notify the Police and give them your statement.
  • Exchange drivers information. Get the other driver's name, address, telephone number, license plate and insurance information.
  • Get the name, address, and telephone number from any witnesses.
  • If you are injured, seek medical attention.
  • If you have a camera, take photos of the accident scene.
  • Notify your insurance company.
  • Seek legal advice from us.
  • DO NOT delay medical attention if you are injured.
  • DO NOT discuss the accident with anyone or admit you were at fault.
  • DO NOT move the vehicles until Police tell you to do so.
  • DO NOT leave the scene of the accident without exchanging information, especially the other vehicle's license plate number.
  • DO NOT speak with any other insurance adjusters until you receive advice from a personal injury lawyer first.
  • DO NOT drink and drive.
