Colin Neal is a dedicated and experienced injury lawyer who is passionate about advocating for those who have been injured due to the negligence of others. With nearly 20 years of experience in the legal field, Colin initially built a successful career as an insurance defence lawyer, representing insurance companies in motor vehicle accidents and occupiers’ liability at a large Edmonton based firm.

This unique background provides Colin with invaluable insights into the inner workings of insurance companies, giving him a deep understanding of their strategies and tactics. Now as a personal injury lawyer, he leverages this knowledge to serve James H. Brown and Associates’ clients, ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve.

Throughout his career, Colin has gained extensive experience working on a variety of personal injury cases. He is known for his tenacity, attention to detail, and exceptional negotiation skills, which he has shown in the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench, the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories, and the Alberta Court of Appeal. Additionally, he has submitted written arguments to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Colin earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba and was called to the Alberta bar in 2006 and the Northwest Territories bar in 2009. He is also a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

When not in the courtroom or working tirelessly on behalf of his clients, Colin enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
