E. COLI CLASS ACTION

April 25, 2018 – James H. Brown and Associates has filed a class action lawsuit against The Meat Shop at Pine Haven, regarding E. coli tainted pork products.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a food recall warning for seventeen different pork products sold by the shop between February 19 and April 24, 2018. Alberta Health Services states that the number of lab-confirmed cases of E. coli O157:H7 has increased to 34, including 11 patients who have needed hospital care, and one patient who has died likely due to E. coli infection.
