DENIS SIDLIN

Denis is an articling student who graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2023. During his time in law school, he continuously volunteered with Student Legal Services and valued getting the chance to assist people with their legal matters.

Prior to law school, he worked for a Member of the Legislative Assembly where he was primarily tasked with resolving the concerns of local constituents around a broad range of issues. In his undergraduate at MacEwan University, he achieved an Honours Degree with distinction in Political Science. His honours thesis on Canada’s legal experience with investor-state dispute settlement won him the Best Honour’s Thesis of the Year Award.

Today, Denis is excited to work through his articles, and combine his passion for advocacy and enjoyment of legal research towards establishing a practice in injury law.

When he’s not at work, Denis enjoys novels, plays, indoor rock climbing, and experiencing the outdoors through biking and hiking.
